An extremely rare domestic breed, Australian Spotted ducks are vigorous and make a beautiful addition to a yard, pond, or existing flock. These ducks love to forage and therefore are great for eating slugs and other unwanted bugs and grubs. They are a bantam breed that is between the size of a wild Mallard and a Call Duck. Even with their small size, they are capable of producing medium sized chicken eggs. There are three varieties of Australian Spotteds: Greenhead, Bluehead, and Silverhead.
